ACROSS lab has recently welcomed 2 new interns from Ecole Emile Cohl, France who, during their 6-month internships, will accompany the project SIMPLE.
Pierre Chandezon will be working on the Creation of a visual identity for the virtual universes and Eloi Landes on 3D-infographic for the virtual universes. In interaction with the scientists in charge of the case studies as well as the people in charge of the visual identity of the universes and the developers of the platform, they are supposed to propose 3D infographics and visuals (e.g. concept arts, 3D assets) for the two virtual environments developed in the first year of the SIMPLE project (Vietnam and Thailand).
The two presented their work via a seminar organized on Wednesday, 21st of June, 2023 sharing different their experience on different examples of art design in using VR. Members of ACROSS have attended this seminar onsite along with the SIMPLE project’s partners online from NSTDA and CTU.
