This August 2025, Dr. Alexis Drogoul – Deputy Director of the ACROSS Laboratory and Director of UMMISCO (IRD) – participated in COMOSA 2025 as one of the distinguished speakers. Recognized internationally as a leading figure in multi-agent modeling for sustainable development, his contribution reflected the depth of expertise driving the forum.

This interdisciplinary scientific forum brought together researchers, experts, practitioners, and students from diverse fields, including optimization, modeling, simulation, analytics, and environmental systems. Through presentations and discussions of the latest advances, Dr. Drogoul and fellow experts fostered academic and professional collaboration, encouraged the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and explored innovative solutions to today’s most pressing challenges.

COMOSA 2025 also marked the inaugural collaboration between two academic networks: the Vietnamese Climate Science and Environmental Modelling Network (VCSEMN) and the Vietnam Operations Research Network (VORN), under the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM). By uniting these networks, the forum provided a unique interdisciplinary platform to advance collaboration, share insights, and apply cutting-edge research to real-world problems.
