Trophées de l’innovation 2025: apply from March 25th!
The 2025 edition of the Trophées de l’Innovation is officially launched! Do you have an innovative project that addresses the challenges of coasts and oceans? Submit your application today: the call is open from 25 March to 4 May 2025.
A special Year of the Sea edition
For this third edition, the Trophées de l’innovation will reward ambitious projects with a positive impact that provide concrete solutions to marine and coastal issues.
Unique support for nominees
Six projects will be selected by a Science and Innovation Committee and will benefit from a full programme:
- Training in project development and entrepreneurship,
- Personalised coaching for the pitch,
- Public presentation to an international jury at a major event.
The two winners will receive:
- A €10,000 prize
- One year of support from a specialised incubator
- Enhanced communication support to promote your project.

About “The IRD’s Trophées de l’innovation”
The Trophées de l’innovation, organized by the IRD, is an international competition which honors and supports young researchers and doctoral students leading interdisciplinary projects. These projects offer innovative and concrete solutions in response to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since the launch of the competition, two editions have already taken place, with 15 nominees and 5 winners.
