From January to February 2026, the ÉVEIL project conducted a series of visits to high schools in Hanoi, Da Nang, Hue, and Can Tho in preparation for the official pilot of its new Virtual Reality (VR) game, OZD (Opération Zéro Déchet – Zero Waste Operation), scheduled for April and May.

The ÉVEIL team visited several institutions, including Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Chu Van An High School, Le Quy Don High School, Quoc Hoc High School, Ly Tu Trong High School, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, and the Institut Français de Da Nang.

During these meetings, in-depth discussions were held between ÉVEIL team and the French language teachers to clarify the detailed implementation plan for the project in each school throughout April and May.

After testing the first version of the OZD VR game, participating teachers provided detailed feedback and practical recommendations. Their insights will contribute to refining the game to better align with the French language curriculum within the Vietnamese educational context.

Following the consultation phase, a Teacher Training session is scheduled for late March. The training will introduce the finalized version of the OZD VR game along with the complete set of teaching materials, forming a comprehensive learning unit ready for classroom implementation during the upcoming academic period.

About Opération Zéro Déchet – Zero Waste Operation

The OZD VR game was developed under the ÉVEIL project, which combines scientific discovery and French language learning through an immersive virtual reality module titled Opération Zéro Déchet. In the game, students are immersed in a fictional village where they interact with local inhabitants, observe the consequences of pollution, and take part in waste collection and sorting activities, encouraging both environmental awareness and active learning.
